Was my dad's right hand man on a mixed farm near Peace River, Ab. Taught school, raised four four wonderful children on a small farm. Had my own horse but no time to ride and she knew more than I did. Next horse would have been perfect except she died so towed her outback with my tractor.
Always wanted to participate in gymcana - potato race, pole bending, even the tire drag. Guess I would rule out the tire drag now.
Our family attended all the Alberta rodeos we could fit in. Loved to sit around the campfire singing and having a beer. Threw a liariat at a post last Friday and roped it a few times. Of course I was not on a fast horse chasing a moving steer.
I always do my best at every endeavour and ask for guidance from above to help me along my life's jouney. I guess I would say I am an easy keeper. I don't complain much. I travel in my SUV with my sleeping bag and a cooler...and an axe.
