Me describiría a mi mismo como
It's hard to explain who you are and what you're looking for in a few paragraphs, but I'll do my best.
My interests are always changing. I LOVE to hike around the mountains looking for antlers. I've been told I do it too much. I like to fish. My tackle box and pole stay in my truck. Gardening is something I enjoy, as well. I like growing/raising my own food, knowing where it comes from. In the past, I've milked cows, raised beef cattle, chickens, pigs..... at one time or another, I've raised just about every farm animal there is.
I'm pretty old-fashioned. I can churn butter, I know how to spin wool into yarn, and I learned how to knit socks.
I've been divorced for 6 years. I have 3 adult children, and 2 grandchildren. I'm a Christian, and I do attend church every week.
I'd like to find someone who can laugh with me when life doesn't go as planned. I want an honest man who knows how to communicate in a healthy way without reverting to cussing and name calling. That's not something I would do to someone, and I expect the same. I believe two people can have a disagreement without hurting each other. Once words have been said, it's hard to take them back.
You'll likely never hear a cuss word come out of my mouth. It's not impossible, but very unlikely. lol I do not like to argue. When I'm upset about something, I tend to be very quiet. More often than not, I'll just let it go. If it's something that is really bothering me, I want to be able to sit and talk about it. If you are the type of person who is quick to anger, I will not be a good fit for you. That's not me, at all, and it's not something I want in a relationship.
**I wish I didn't have to say this, but I will not date someone who has had an affair or cheated on a significant other in the past. I need to be very straightforward about that. Please do not contact me and try to argue this point. It's non-negotiable.**
At this point in my life, I'm not interested in playing games. I really mean that. If I have to wonder how you feel or where I stand, I'll just walk away.
I'm picky when it comes to dating, and who I spend my time with, and I hope you are, too. We all need to be honest about who we are and the kind of person that would be a good fit for us. I'm not the perfect match for everyone, but I will be for the right person.
I've learned a lot in the last several years. Life is precious and doesn't always go as planned. I've been hurt, but I still believe in love. We all deserve to be with someone who is in our corner, no matter what, that continues to show us love when we're being unlovable, and believes that the relationship is sacred and worth fighting for.
