I'm an honest and down to earth lady. I care how I look but I don't spend all my time in front of the mirror. More like 'wash and wear' than like 'Barbie meets Ken'.
I always have a smile and laugh easily.
I like to ride horses, read, be out in nature, walking, light hikes, movies, zip-lining, and going on adventures. Except bungie jumping. It's that whole rubber band vs spine thing I can't get past. Basically I'll try anything that I perceive to be safe.
The fall is my favorite time of year and I'm not really fond of the heat so I don't like to do anything too strenuous in the summer. Running a marathon wouldn't be at the top of my list. Ok, it wouldn't be on my list at all.
I have 3 grown children and 3.5 grandchildren. Most of them in the Vancouver area and we are very close. Time with family is very important to me.
I am very affectionate and think touch is far too under-rated. Cuddling, hugs, holding hands and intimacy (both kinds) are important. If you don't like these then it probably wouldn't work. There also has to be that spark. Attraction has to be there.
Trust is very important in a relationship with me. If there isn't trust, there is no foundation on which to build.
I'm looking for a real gentleman. A kind man who knows how to treat a lady. A man who is thoughtful, considerate and treats people with respect. A man who likes animals and who's family is also important to him. A man who isn't afraid of making a commitment, to the right one of course. As I'm more of a follower, I'm looking for a leader. But not a controller. A sense of humor would be good too.
Although I don't have animals right now, I miss having them very much and will have them again in the future. Especially dogs and horses.
I do have a couple small tattoos. One on each ankle. Not hidden but can be covered up.
