I Would Describe Myself As

I love the Lord Yeshua (Jesus) as well as horses. I used to be extroverted. I am still very relational but in being older and wiser now, I am a bit more guarded. I love the outdoors and I miss the mountains and the beach. I lived in Hawaii for over 14 years and moved to Texas from the left coast shortly after the last election. Our world is crazy and the last thing I want is to be subjected to those with evil agenda's.

I am a hard worker and have experience in food and beverage, hospitality, real estate sales. I have worked in a ministry setting as a client advocate in a pregnancy resource center. In addition, I know how to to care for horses, goats and chickens (as well as cats, dogs, rabbits) but I've never had cows. I don't eat pork so the only pig I'd ever be interested in would be a pot belly for a pet. I have participated in a cattle drive and that was fun! I enjoy some forms of property maintenance such as mowing, pressure washing, painting... I enjoy riding ATVs, but I have never operated a tractor. I'd rather work outside than clean house. I have never hired anyone to do house or yardwork. I'm pretty frugal and I am a good cook. I do keep my kitchen tidy and I can't stand clutter. Less is more on so many levels!

I am certified in EAP/EAL (equine assisted philosophy/learning) and I also have an undergraduate degree in biblical counseling. My dream is to do ministry in partnership with the Holy Spirit and horses, helping others reflect and grow mentally, emotionally, spiritually and relationally. Horses have been a haven for me and earning my bachelors degree has been part of my overcomer journey as well. We all have a story. I won't go too deep here but I have been through a great deal since 2014 - divorced, remarried, empty nest, widowed and 4 moves, with this last one taking me halfway across the country.

When it comes to entertainment, I know Yellowstone has been all the rage. Regarding the Dutton family saga, 1883 is my favorite. I also love The Chosen.

I hope to meet a new best friend and see if it leads to more. I hope this doesn't appear shallow but I am not attracted to men under 5'10, smokers, or those who are significantly older than me. (My late husband was almost 3 years younger). Of course I could enjoy most any male company, as long as they are honest, fair and willing to communicate what's on their heart and mind.(I'm not into drama or games!)
