Hi - Because I know how we humans are – I would like to tell you first off that I am younger than my years in spirit, style and appearance and plan on staying that way. I do have good genes and good jeans!! Ha!
If I would have lived in another time, I believe I would have been a real cowgirl, or I'm destined to become one in my next life!! That being said, let me tell you who I am today. I am a country girl at heart and I think I got that from my dad who grew up on a farm in North Dakota. I grew up on country music - so I was country before country was cool!
I love the outdoors and to explore anything I haven't seen before, small towns, antique shops, yard sales and book stores. I like the water (wherever it is) beach - swimming pool - bath tub, shower and even the garden hose! I enjoy working in the yard and would love to try my hand (with yours maybe) at growing a garden. LOVE flowers, growing in nature and being delivered to my front door with a card just for me.
I'm a creative person and enjoy creating something new from something old, I sew and love to decorate. The Art & Wine Fests in Cave Creek and Carefree are some of my favorites. The environment of small towns makes me feel good. I like driving with the top down (the convertible top) especially where there is great scenery, a blue sky, or a perfectly warm evening with the feel of the wind blowing - because I don't have a horse - it's the next best thing. I think horses are the most beautiful animals and to me there is something spiritual about them - dogs as well.
I like to dance, and if the relationship is right - I looooooooooooove to slow dance. I think one of the best things ever is a good love-filled hug - weather it be a big ol bear hug or a tender hug when your bodies fit together perfectly.
I'm a Pisces which makes me a dreamer, but also a strong independent woman who lives with an unending faith. With this I know that when the time is right, the last right man for me will come into my life. And holy cow - Yippy-ey-ky-a - we’ll be two lucky people!!
I also love vintage and classic cars and enjoy going to the car shows. My first car - 1967 Chevelle SS 396 convertible - cherry red with black top, white pin strip and factory hood scoop. Being from North Dakota – everyone knew the blond with the red convertible!!
I'm looking for a man who is secure in himself, who's real and will tell it like it is . . . . someone like Popeye - a man who can say "I yam who I yam . . . and that's who I yam . . . . " and be o.k. with it - (only be a cowboy instead of a sailor!!) because . . . I yam who I yam - and I'm good with that. That's not to say I don't continue to grow as a person - we have to or we die!! That's morbid.
Not everything is black and white to me. I'm a very curious, playful, upbeat person. I'm quick witted and will make you laugh (once we become comfortable with each other) . . . I may even make you blush!!!. I like to tease and be teased right back and I'm very ticklish!! I hope you can make me laugh too - without tickling me!!
I wonder if this is the longest profile EVER – I’ll end by saying - when I say cowboy - cowboy in spirit is more important than occupation – if you get that. A cowboy hat ALWAYS grabs my attention but that doesn't mean it's the end-all. A hat's just a hat, what you find under it is what matters. If you know the definition of "a man's man" you'll know what I'm talking about, and a man who knows how to treat a woman, is funny (that's real important) and is generally good person.
