I'm a 46 yr old Christian woman. I have what most would refer to as "Old Fashioned" values. I've learned to be direct. DON'T play games. NEVER intentionally hurt anyone & have a VERY quick & witty sense of humor, most often accompanied with a bit of sarcasm, but always good, clean fun!!! Was married for 24 yrs, divorced 2 yrs. Born & raised in San Antonio. Lived in the Hill Country approx 20 yrs. I love children, but was not blessed with any of my own. I have 2 Labs, a yellow & a chocolate. I'm VERY new to dating & not looking for "Fun/Casual" dating. I'm hoping to meet new people, beginning by building strong friendships & leaving the rest up to God! My friends would describe me as analytical, intelligent, responsible, talented, compassionate, funny, reliable, thoughtful, respectful, faithful, creative & generous (I asked them!) My interests include photography, cooking/baking, shopping (ALWAYS have a coupon!), decorating, swimming, boating, fishing (honestly, I like casting, catching & reeling it in!), shooting, Country dancing, horseback riding (been a while), love muscle cars. I'd LOVE to have a '68-'69 Camaro SS one day & help with the restoration! I'd like to learn skeet shooting & Dove hunting. I'd love to go on Alaskan & Caribbean cruises. Is there really such thing as a "perfect" match? I know successful relationships require a lot of work. I also know we WILL experience joys & challenges along the way. Without faith, respect, honesty, integrity, strong communication, patience, romance, passion, tolerance & fidelity, we will struggle. Another important quality is the ability to listen to your partner, knowing when to offer an opinion, support or simply allow them to vent. The ability to compromise, show compassion & empathy are also very important. We may not always understand or have experienced what our partner may be going through. Always acknowledge and validate their feelings are real and be supportive. There is so much more I could say but I'm going to be very direct in SOME things I am looking for in a man. I want a man... ...who places God first, then is wife and then their children ...who equally contributes to the relationship ...who is equally excited to see me at the day's end as I am to see him ...who knows when to be a gentleman & when to respect & allow me to be independent & strong ...who surprises me with romantic gestures for no reason at all ...who shares, participates in or simply supports my interests ...who catches your eye from across the room & makes you feel like you are the most important person there (Corny! But every woman wants to feel this way)
