I Would Describe Myself As

I'm here looking about, just like everyone else. If by chance I find a man I share a connection with, all the better. I also reserve the right to rewrite my profile as often as the mood strikes me.



My pics range in age from about 3 years ago to about 4 weeks ago. A pet peeve of mine...posted pics that do not accurately portray one's current appearance. Shame on all of you that choose to do that.



As my headline states; I believe simple pleasures are the best. I am, above all, NOT a high maintenance type gal.



These are some of the things I enjoy...



I enjoy taking pictures of the sky with my phone (gotta love technology!); sunrises, sunsets, and severe weather. Nothing beats watching storms develop and unfold, snow storms or thunderstorms...doesn't matter to me...my son and I chased a tornadic storm last spring. We got a few pics of a developing tornado but it never completely materialized.



I enjoy reading and learning. I truly believe if we stop learning we stop living.



I enjoy watching football, boxing, and Thunder basketball.



I like camping, in a tent or an RV, and fishing. I possess a lifetime fishing license. I can bait my own hook, clean and then cook, over an open fire, any fish I catch.



I love star gazing and planet observation (with or without a telescope)...actually I'm up and out for most any celestial event. I have a couple of telescopes. I'm fortunate enough to live in an area where the light pollution isn't terribly bad. The Milky Way is awe inspiring most nights.



I enjoy live music. I listen to music of all types, and yes, believe it or not, even some rap (the key word there is some). However, my very favorite; Texas Blues...oh yeah.



I'm a fan of the arts in general. I simply love the theatre, both as a performer and a spectator. My kids and I have all performed, together and separately, with our local community theatre. It's great fun, but hard work. I was lucky enough to have been invited to see "Wicked" when it was playing here.



I enjoy flea markets and art festivals. I also love museums of any type. I enjoy visiting historic sites. I love old homes and buildings. I love going through antique shops, just poking around. My daughter and I make frequent trips to our little shops here in town. Mostly, we just look, but occasionally, we find a must have treasure.



I enjoy cooking, inside or out, I love the grill or the fire pit.



I like to shoot pool; snooker is a favorite.



I enjoy watching and tending a fire, whether in a fire place or outdoors. There is something so seductive and hypnotic about a fire.



I would much rather be outdoors than indoors. Being out in nature feeds my soul.



I have never traveled much but would enjoy it. I would really enjoy road trips where one could explore the local, out of the way, haunts that most people miss.



I'm a short timer now with my kids. The youngest will graduate high school in two years. At that point one adventure closes and a new one opens. I'm hoping to find someone to share this next adventure with.



I seek a man that smiles and laughs often. One that never tires of learning. One that is attractive to me. He doesn't have to be a body builder, but should be in relatively physically fit shape and enjoy doing things outdoors. I prefer a beard and mustache. I prefer taller to shorter. I seek a man that will enjoy giving me his attention and wants mine in return. I also would like to find a man that wants to communicate with me on a daily basis.
