I've Been separated over a year and need to start meeting some new people. I have a job I love, two kids (11&14, Part time) and I've just bought a house in west Edmonton. In order to accomplish this, I have lived in my 25' travel trailer for the last year either in friends driveways or inside the shop at work when it's really cold. I think this is a testiment to my willingness to succeed and move forward. Have to say it...I am very proud of what I've accomplished and hats off to my kids for enduring it and standing behind me.

Speaking of them, I co-parent with my ex-wife and we consider ourselves a team. We are still friends and still take the kids out for dinner on their birthdays together, and spend xmas mornings together as a family. It is extremely important that our relationship stays this way and if you couldn't handle that then there will be a problem.

Now that I am settled and officially moving on, I think its time to find some new experiences with new people! My goals for the short term are to travel more and just settle in to being me. I feel like I've hit the reset button on life and now I need to see where it takes me. In December it took me to Mexico and I loved it. I now have the "travel bug" as I have never traveled before this.

Country music is my passion, I love putting on my boots and hat and go 2 stepping, but I do like top 40 as well as classic rock; 90s dance and one hit wonders (I've even been caught listening to One Direction and the Biebs).

I also DJ parties on the side as a hobby business so there isn't much out there I won't listen to or at least give a try!

Come summer time it will be quadding and camping season but if I can't get away I will settle for drinks and good friends by a back yard fire.
I also enjoy my mountain bike, walking and hiking.

I was injured in a work accident a few years ago that left me with a bad knee (It needs to be replaced), so as much as I would like to do more, some days I have to pick my battles and decide just how much pain I want to be in later. While I was in Mexico we did alot of walking and zip line adventures as well as swimming with dolphins, so its not as though I have a piano stuck to my hind end, I just need to be carefull! I think for a guy in my position I am doing pretty well. Im just saying that because although "working out" & "going to the gym" are not my activities of choice, it does not mean I am not active nor am I fat... I guess what I'm saying is I'm not UN healthy or not concious of my body.

At the end of the day, if you don't find me handsome, at least you'll find me handy. Fun, funny, patient and caring as well. I know how to take care of you, I have three older sisters that raised me a gentleman.

I love making you smile and when you're with me, you will feel wanted and loved (if we get to that point). I am the kind of guy that sneaks a special note into your lunch bag in the morning and sends you emails at work just to tell you how special you are.
