Don't sweat the small stuff and I have been known to tell it like it is. I am diplomatic if need be, and will choose to walk away or remain silent rather than make someone uncomfortable. Stupid people make me angry pretty quickly but I have learned to turn cheek and ignore it. I would say that if you don't want the truth about something do not ask me. I am the kind of person that will tell you exactly what I think and will try to be mindful of your feelings but sometimes I am not so good at that. So a person with strong character who is very comfortable in their own skin is very important to me.

I love life, God, and my family and my horses. Pretty much in that order except God is first over all. I have a strong faith that keeps me going every day.

I love to ride, train, and be outside. I do not care to fish much unless it is sunbathing weather. I would much rather be out riding or camping.

My preference of clothing is jeans and my Ariat riding boots. I love the smell of the woods in the fall, and a good campfire in the summer. I like challenging myself and my horses and making new accomplishments together.

I am not looking for a cowboy. I am looking for a gentleman, who is a true horseman that chooses to wear a cowboy hat if this is your style.

If you believe and understand the ways of Tom and Bill Dorrance, or Ray Hunt, we will get along on the horse front. If you do not know who these guys are, chances are we will not see eye to eye. Any one that thinks a horse can be forced or made to do something by force, move on quickly.

Thoughtfulness and kind gentle nature in a man who has patience and can communicate effectively is very attractive to me.

I have nothing against farmers, but if you just farm and have little or no interest in horses . . this won't work.

You are kind, patient, understanding, thoughtful, and you work to understand the ways a woman needs to taken care of even if she can take care of herself.

Cutesy shallow compliments are not what strikes my attention. Genuine, sincere and kind nature is a big deal.
