I Would Describe Myself As

I guess the most important thing for me about myself and someone I would like to be with is being drama free. I have a rather allergic reaction to drama actually. I just don't like fights or arguments - no it's complicated. My friends and co-workers actually try to purposely upset me to see how I would react because I'm always happy and smiling. Don't get me wrong I do get upset - I just don't like making a big fuss about it. I rather talk about it or just make the best of the situation. I'm just appreciative of life. Even with all of lives challenges, the fact that I can fight through them is enough to be appreciative for.



I have very southern/country values. I love cooking for friends and family (I'm the mom that bakes cookies for his teachers on teacher appreciation week), I like hemming my son's pant (well use to, he's 15 now very tall and athletic, so proper fitting pants isn't and issue), and watching movies at home. So yes, family and close friends are VERY important for me. Even though I'm rather easy to get along with (so they say), I find acceptance and tolerance very important in a relationship (any relationship = friends and family included). If you love a person's flaws first the rest is all easy. I absolutely love the outdoors. Any outdoor activity whether it's and outside picnic or mountain biking, I enjoy. I love good music - all music and dancing to it, but I'm over the club scene. I enjoy cooking, believe it or not and I actually like to set a mean table.



So why Match you ask? I've always been busy with school, work, and being a mom/dad. I feel it is just time for me to watch a good movie with someone rather than myself. Well I'm quite an independent soul and know what I don't want in a person. I'm not generalizing, but people in South Florida (Dade County) are rather superficial. It's very hard to find someone with ambitions and goals. It's also hard to find guys with established careers and hard working. Everyone is looking for the easy way out and where the next party is at. They spend their time jumping from happy hour to happy hour. Nope not for me. I guess you could say I'm also not looking for a yuppy. I know this might (it does) sound corny but I actually would enjoy helping in the yard or at least making him lemonade or his favorite lunch while he works in the garage. How cliché I know, but hey I'm trying to be as descriptive as possible - bare with me.



I LOVE SURPRISES. I don't mean anything fancy or big just cute simple gestures, just like a simple mid afternoon text or call hoping you are having a great day. Am I still on the corn wagon? I guess there's nothing better than a person who enjoys a person being themselves and allows their partner the same, all while bringing out the best in each other.
