Hey there, I'm Mallory. My life is currently defined by nursing school. I am a senior this year and will graduate in May 2013. I am terribly excited because autumn is fast approaching. I love our South Carolina Summer and going to the beach but there is no more beautiful time than fall! My interests include going to the beach, sitting by the water (pond, creek, river, ocean, lake, mud hole, I'm not picky), bonfires, star gazing, and listening to good music (I have eclectic tastes). I enjoy experiencing all life has to offer, it’s all about the journey. I live for laughter and excitement and derive pleasure from simplicity.

As a Southerner, I like all the prescribed southern things like Carolina football, Braves baseball, and Southern Rock. I love to go fishing, ride ATV’s, and most of all just be present in nature. I am well aware all this sounds a little boring but I’m content. I’m looking for a man who enjoys similar interests and is able to enhance my life.

I like to break out in song occasionally (anytime I’m in the car). Music is a big part of my life. Southern Rock is wonderful. You can never go wrong with Country unless it’s T. Swift. Bands like Old Crow Medicine Show, Cadillac Sky, The Devil Makes Three, and Steeldrivers are fantastic in my opinion. Give me a little bluegrass and I’m good to go. I love Lynyrd Skynyrd, Mel McDaniel, Marc Broussard, and needtobreathe. I will give any music a fair chance except Rap.

For my reading pleasure, I have chosen Southern authors (I hope you’re picking up the theme here). William Faulkner is my favorite. Eudora Welty, Margaret Mitchell, Dorothea Benton Frank, and Fannie Flagg are wonderful. My favorite book and movie for that matter is Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt.

My friends would describe me as easygoing. My love for the Lord is apparent in my ability to attain joy in the little things, small experiences, and spending time with my family. God is present in all things, you just have to look, see, and accept with your heart.
