My name's Melissa and I'm a down to earth country girl originally from North Dakota. I grew up on a small farm working my butt off training horses, milking cows, working in the fields, and everything else farming entails. I know how to do a lot of things from office and clerical work to construction work (which was my favorite). I am very "low maintenance" and very independent sometimes to much. I can change my own oil, plugs, tires, and some other more basic mechanical stuff. My biggest pet peeve is that being a woman I don't know how to do something or can't do it and I love being able to prove people wrong about that. I'm hard working and definitely not afraid of getting greasy and dirty but I clean up nicely for a night out. Horses are my passion and always have been since I was little. I love to go camping, hunting, fishing, riding, hiking and many other things. I'm always open to learning or trying new things. I tend to be shy around new people at first but once I'm comfortable I am more outgoing. I'm not afraid of being a leader and I take great pride in doing things to the best of my ability. I love sitting by a lake or river and relaxing by a campfire which tends to bring out my creative side for writing poetry and drawings. I'm just me. I've been through and done a lot in my life and it's all made me a stronger person which does tend to intimidate some people but I can't help that I am who I am. Are you strong enough to be my partner but gentle enough to comfort me when I need it?
