That's when the Southwest calls to me most.Although I can appreciate the beauty of most of all our country, I love the mountains of Idaho and Colorado, the desert beauty of southern Utah, the terrain of northern New Mexico and Arizona and the Carolinas in Spring. And, always, any view of the ocean. Camping in the mountains of Idaho, next to a rushing stream, fills my heart with an appreciation for the beauty around me on an annual trip I make each summer.I'm a collector of vintage Mexican items, images of Our Lady of Guadelupe and owls for the collection that my 99 year old Grandmother passed on to me.I am a spiritual person with a favorite saying: "Faith is as the bird that sings its song before the dawn is light".I have three dogs and two cats, all rescues, that comprise my little family here on the lake where I live. My hope is to add a horse to my herd someday as I find them to be life-giving as well.I love to laugh, watch the fireflys in June and the 4th of July is my favorite holiday. Yes, I'm a pyro at heart.....or so my friends say.
